A full time Social Media Director is needed for a premium denim brand, that also has lifestyle casual apparelThis role will report to the Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations and be responsible for developing an innovative social media strategy to support the brand's business objectivesThe Director of Social Media will oversee campaigns across all social media channels to increase brand awareness and growth.Key
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead in-house social media teamWorks with the Founder and the VP of Marketing on the larger picture initiatives and social media direction.Responsible for creating strategy for the brands' social media presence across various social platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, PinterestWorks with Social Media Manager on social planning and execution of all posts as well as creative paid social adsOversee influencer strategy including contract negotiations and budgeting.Oversee content development, distribution, and community management across all major social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok and PinterestCreates actionable plans to grow and maintain followers on all social platforms.Oversee social performance, KPI, Reporting, etcAnalyzes social data and create actionable strategies and plans.Increases visibility of brand and develops strategies to drive traffic from our social platforms to our website.Oversee in house team to build an authoritative brand with a loyal online communityAgency ManagementWorking under the direction of the VP of marketing, manage external agencies to assist in Social Media activitiesSupport decisions with ROI based analysis and KPI tracking.Work in collaboration with other team members and agency partners to ensure initiatives have support and alignment across all channelsWorks with Director of Marketing & Communications in partnership with China marketing agency on management of owned social channels and influencer gifting efforts in ChinaStays on the cutting edge of industry trends, new platforms, and best practices and pushes boundaries of new ways to story tell on social.Requirements10-12 years of experience in successfully managing/launching social media programsExperience building and leading teamsProven background in strategic planning within social and digital space and developing successful campaigns that have gained and maintained organic (versus paid for Followers) growth with proven sales resultsStrong and proven business acumenExpertise in social data analysis and measuring KPIs impactful to the businessStrong experience reporting ROI to senior leadershipAnalytical skill and the ability to use digital tools to find actionable insights through dataA collaborative nature with finesse in developing relationships cross-functionallyGlobal experience is requiredThis role is onsite in Vernon - 1 day work from home.Salary:
