As our lead global engineer for Identity and Application infrastructure, you'll manage our Identity and Saas application ecosystem.
You will partner with Security to ensure the integrity of our global identity architecture.
You'll work with commercial technologies to automate SSO, SCIM provisioning, and user onboarding/offboarding.
You will also work closely with the IT Engineering team to manage our on-prem and SaaS application deployments for enterprise collaboration and critical business applications.
The problems you will solve:
Leverage SCIM to fully automate employee onboarding and offboarding Leverage concepts such as device trust and universal 2-factor to ensure secure and compliant access to applications Enhance the end-user experience by anticipating user needs and proactively addressing issues that impact the security and reliability of our endpoint and application environment Recommend and execute architecture improvements that reduce user friction, increase stability, and improve user efficiency Provide SAML and OIDC integrations to streamline the user application sign-on experience for the DNAnexus enterprise application portfolio As part of the IT team, you will support endpoint and network management tools including Okta, UEM, Cisco AnyConnect, and Google MDM Maintain a performant and usable application environment including JIRA/Confluence, Okta, GSuite, and Zoom; you'll maintain a small set of server infrastructure using EC2,Linux/Docker The experiences you will bring:
Extensive experience managing and supporting identity solutions such as Okta, Active Directory, SCIM, and IAM Working knowledge of identity concepts such as SAML, OIDC, and OAuth You've had an opportunity to administer Enterprise SaaS Apps and support users leveraging these apps (Google, Zoom, Okta, etc) Exposure and experience in managing on-premise or installed applications such as on-premise versions of Atlassian or BI tools such as Tableau Proficient in terraform, GAM scripting, IAM policies, bash and/or python Exposure and experience in supporting AWS IAM, VPC, EC2, S3 and/or Lambda You'll have prior experience and familiarity with networking and linux administration including use of terraform and docker Exposure and experience with a modern Mac UEM provider such as JAMF, Fleetsmith, Kandji or WorkspaceOne Your focus on values, and attributes positions you for success:
